Abby & Beamer Winners at CMAO, Opening for Brett in Ottawa
December 19, 2016
Abby Stewart has had some pretty amazing opportunities in her young career and another experience has just been awarded. Abby will be opening for Brett Kissel on his "Ice, Snow and 30 Below Tour " on January 23 in Ottawa at the Algonquin Commons Theatre. As part of the CMAO's (Country Music Association of Ontario) on going effort to introduce emerging talent, Abby entered a contest by submitting a duet with Invictus Entertainment Artist Beamer Wigley. The couple had penned a few new songs earlier in the month and decided to submit one in hopes of winning a coveted spot on one of the Ontario tour dates. A few short weeks later Abby was contacted and told of the great news and that Brett himself had had a hand in the decision. As an added bonus Abby decided to ask Beamer to join her for a few songs as her special guest. "Beamer is such an amazing artist, and great person. I wanted to thank him for the collaboration and can't wait to hit the stage with him!" The two had previously met in London at the CCMA's awards when Abby opened for Beamer and later sang the Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson duet "Don't You Wanna Stay?" to great reviews.
Joining Abby and Beamer on other dates in Ontario are Meghan Patrick, The Abrams, Kansas Stone, Cory Marquardt, Marshall Dane, Runaway Angel, Buck Twenty, Ben Hudson, Kris Barclay and others. For more information please visit http://brettkissel.com/
